Hi,
I am trying to connect Power BI with Oracle DB, however failing at each step.
When I first attempt to connect, it says;
And then when I go to the next step and provide the credentials,I get an error saying- Unable to connect:
Details: "Oracle: ORA-12504: TNS:listener was not given the SERVICE_NAME in CONNECT_DATA
I have already tried certain solutions given on internet however with limited access I am not able to perform all and some of them don't even work.
Please suggest a substantial solution

Hi @PC2790 ,
Here I suggest you to install the recommended provider.
For the 32-bit version of Power BI Desktop, download and install the 32-bit Oracle client.
For the 64-bit version of Power BI Desktop, download and install the 64-bit Oracle client.
Please take a look at this document, it should be helpful to you.
For second error, I suggest you to refer to this solved post with similar problems like yours.
For reference:Oracle error: TNS: Listener was not given the SERVICE_NAME in CONNECT_DATA 1
Best Regards,
Rico Zhou
