Connection to indexed sharepoint list failing

We have a sharepont list that crossed total records 5000+, and we had to index the list based on a date column. But post this index and limit cross of 5000+ in sharepoint list PBI is not able to connect to sharepoint list. Any sugesstions would be really helpful.!!

What error are you getting? Power BI does not have a set limit on number of rows it can pull from a SharePoint list; but it will slow down if you try to pull all columns on a lot of rows with heavy transformations. Make sure to use the 2.0 connector, it's much faster. But it's possible to use it on 100k+ rows without much issue as long as you're not pulling all columns and expanding a lot of lookup fields.
