Hi Everyone,
I have made a Gataway on premises connection to SQL Server and results to be successful. I made it with the same access that I am in Power Bi Desktop.
Then I tried to access the Server with the same information used in the Gateway from Power BI Desktop with the sql server connector but give me this error:
Someone knows what sould I do?

@Isabeladelin , try to connect with SSMS with the same details. Where is Sql server installed, HAve you opened the port. Done IP whitelisting, if required
refer if these can help

I would first try to connet to the SQL server using command promt. which will have nothing to do with power Bi to rule out that if it is an issue with PBI or something else.
If I can connect with the command promt, I would try accessing any other SQL server through PBI.
If I can't I will check with admin for the firewall settings.
