Hi all,
Is there a way to combine two BI datasets without getting the whole list of tables from one of the datasets? The issue i am facing is that the dataset i want from the other table is not hosted on an online service (it is in a personal workspace) and i only want a few columns from that dataset. I can do it through an excel import and link to my data, but that is not optimal as i want to have a daily refresh.....any suggestions that could help me?
Since it is not hosted on an online service, not possible to get a connection string also to this "new" dataset.
Thanks.!
@adhishvellore , If change the Data Model connection type to direct query you can have both models in a direct query model - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-directquery-datasets-azure-analysis-s...
