Hello,
I have a report published on the workspace and I added a connection gateway after I published. When I download the report and try to open it, I see this error. I am unable to open the pbi report because of this and is blocking my work.
Has anybody seen this before or has any suggestions?

Hi @sidkasat,
Please check your power BI desktop version which has the issue. Ensure it's the same version as the one which developed the report before. Or you can update Power BI desktop to the latest version 2.76.5678.782.

@v-qiuyu-msft I am using a SQL db as the source and the gateway connection which is installed on the on-prem db server.
I am able to view it in the service and opening it on the same machine it was developed on.
Hi @sidkasat,
Which data sources did the report get data from? Which connection mode did you use?
Please check if you are able to view the report in Power BI service. Also please open the pbix file on the same machine which you developed the report originally.
Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
