Connecting to sharepoint document sets
- Anonymous1 year ago
Hi willatkinson ,
Thanks again for your patience and all the detailed testing.Since you have already tried both the SharePoint Folder and List connectors and still can’t access the expected metadata for the files. At this stage, I’d recommend opening a Microsoft support ticket, so the team can take a closer look .
To raise a support ticket for Fabric and Power BI, kindly follow the steps outlined in the following guide:How to create a Fabric and Power BI Support ticket - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Hi v-pagayam-msft,
Thanks again for your help.
When I connect to the correct library, all I can see is rows makring the folders in that library.
I can only see these and I can not expand the folders, do you know why this is?
Thanks,
Will
Hi willatkinson ,
Thanks again for the follow-up!I would be happy to assist you!
As per my understanding,Document sets appear as single rows in the SharePoint Online List connector, but you might not expand them to see files inside. To access the files, use the SharePoint Folder connector. Since it doesn’t include metadata, you may combine both connectors in Power Query: one for the files, one for the metadata, and join them using the folder path. Let me know how it goes.
