I'm new to forum, so hoping someone can help, as I noticed when the ability of being able to share datasets across workspaces was released that we lost the ability to see from the desktop app which dataset the report is currently connected to. Previously in the desktop you could view the current power bi dataset the report is using, but now it displays all datasets and you cannot directly see which one is currently connected to your report?
The only way I can see is if you login to online service and click view related from the dataset to see reports - but that is not useful plus you need to have an idea of which dataset.
So hoping it is right under my nose and something can point me in direction of how to find this please ?
Many Thanks,
B 🙂

Hi @Anonymous ,
By my tests, we could see the dataset here which is highlight in red in the image below when you get data from power bi dataset.

Cherry

Hi @v-piga-msft
Thank you so much, don't recall seeing that in bottom right of screen 🙂
Perhaps my colleague and I both need to go for eye test !
Thanks again,
B
