Connecting Azure Power BI Embedded to MongoDB

I need to connect MongoDB to Azure Power BI Embedded (on Cloud), i am able to connect MongoDB to Power BI Desktop. How to connect to MongoDB, deployed on Azure VM, to Azure Power BI Embedded (on Cloud). So that i can embed the reports in applications.

Please let me know if there are any suggesstions?

According to your description, you want to use Power BI to connect to MongoDB deployed on Azure VM and finally to Azure Power BI Embedded. you can try the following approaches.

 

1.Since direct connection between MongoDB on Azure VM and Power BI Embedded is not supported natively, the recommended approach is to synchronize MongoDB data to Azure Cosmos DB using Azure Data Factory.Azure Cosmos DB provides fully compatible MongoDB data with the MongoDB API.

2. Once the data is in Azure Cosmos DB, you can easily connect to Power BI Desktop using the Azure Cosmos DB connector.

3. After you create reports in Power BI Desktop, publish them to the Power BI Services workspace. To embed these reports into an application, follow the steps outlined in Embedding Power BI content into a customer's application.
