Connect to dataflow from PowerBI Desktop
I appear to have lost the option to connect to a dataflow from PowerBI desktop September edition?
Please don't get rid of this feature! Has anyone else experienced the same issue?
Hi Anonymous ,
By my test in the latest version 2.73.5586.1101 of Power BI Desktop, get data from Power BI dataflows option, sign in it with my matched Power BI Service account, and the result shows it works well. You may upgrade the Power BI Desktop to the latest version, and try it again.

Amy

I'm on Sept issue and still have the option, maybe you need to reinstall/update

Actually Anonymous - although it appears in the drop down it doesn't actually do anything when you click it even after a reinstall.
Dataflow also doesn't seem to exist at all when you click "Get Data" and wait on the pop up (i.e. not the dropdown).
Anyone else?

Strange, it's OK for me (I don't know what to tell you now)

Are you installing the Microsoft Store version or the .EXE (formally .MSI) version? They're different installs and installed as separate applications.
