Configure and retrieve files data from Azure BLOB

I've created an Azure Storage account to store multiple json files.

In that storage account I added a container with the files.

Now, I need to connect Power BI Desktop to the folder where the files.

Questions:

1. Is this the right way to store files in Azure Blob?

2. where do I get the Account name or URL + how do I set/get the account key?

Hi, @webportal

Yes, I suggest you follow the steps to learn how to access data from Azure Blob Storage using Power BI.

'Name' is the name you created a Blob Storage account on Azure and  you can find the key on the “Access keys” page of the Azure blob storage account. To obtain the access key, open the home page of Azure Portal Select Azure Blob storage account (myfirstblobstorage) select “Access keys”.

@webportal you will get the account key either thru Azure Portal or if you are azure storage explorer, you can connect to the blob storage and get the account key from there. Manage account access keys - Azure Storage | Microsoft Docs
