Hey, I have a problem with constructing conditional formatting for Matrix in Power BI in such a way as to check if the fruit sales in each next quarter are higher than in the previous ones. This means I have to check if "Q4 22" is higher than each previous quarter, if "Q3 22" is higher than each previous quarter, and so on. If there is an abnormal progression, this should cause the formatting of three contiguous values to check which of the values is causing the disorder in raw data. The attachment has an example of the formatting I have, but it doesn't work as it should.
Hi @EmkaAZWRK ,
Whether the advice given by @amitchandak has solved your confusion, if the problem has been solved you can mark the reply for the standard answer to help the other members find it more quickly. If not, please point it out.
Looking forward to your feedback.
Best Regards,
Henry
@EmkaAZWRK , I would recommend if you can use a color measure and use that in conditional formatting using field value option
color =
var _change =[Measure QTD]-[Measure LQTD]
return
SWITCH (
TRUE(),
_change > 0, "green",
_change = 0, "blue",
_change < 0, "red"
)
How to do conditional formatting by measure and apply it on pie?

where
QTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESQTD(('Date'[Date])))
Last QTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESQTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,QUARTER)))
Qtr Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESQTD(ENDOFQUARTER('Date'[Date])))
Last QUARTER Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESQTD( ENDOFQUARTER(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,QUARTER))))
Last QUARTER Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),PREVIOUSQUARTER(('Date'[Date])))
