Conditional formatting not qorking correctly for decimal values which are not 0 or 5



Hi everyone,


I am comparing two set of data to see if values match. I have applied conditional formatting so the data on the right is green if the data matches and red of it doesn’t. 


However, there are values which match but are highlighted as red. It seems to be decimals that do not end in 0 or 5, i.e. not whole or half decimal values.


I have formatted the data sets so they are Number values to 2.d.p.


Would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter.

Formatting to 2 decimal places is not the same as rounding to 2 decimal places.

Willing to wager if you expand to 3 or more places, you will see 7.63xx <> 7.63yy.

To change the value of your columns, use the ROUND function to round out the value to 7.63

ie. ROUND( [PT1&2], 2 ).

Hope this helps to resolve this matter.
