Conditional formatting for a Row header in Matrix visual
I have a Matrix visual in powerBI, I would like to highlight few rows in row header based on date column. I could see for all the columns added in the values section there is a conditional formatting option. But i am wondering if there is a conditional formatting for the row header?
Can anyone help me with this please.
Hello Anonymous,
You can create a custom column that includes the formatting logic. This column can concatenate the row header value with a special character or text, based on your condition (While this doesn’t change the color or style of the row header, it differentiates the rows based on your condition)
RowHeaderWithCondition = IF ( [YourDateColumn] < TODAY(), "🔴 " & [RowHeaderColumn], [RowHeaderColumn] )You can also try conditionally format the cells in the matrix based on the row header value (Setting the background color of the cells in the values section of the matrix based on your date condition)
Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
