Conditional Formatting for Dates on Matrix

Hi All

I was wondering if you could help

As per requirements I have a Matrix with Dates in PowerBI Desktop, and I would like the most recent date to be highlighted in different colour, but I am not sure how to go about it, as the formatting seems to accept values only as opposed to dates

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Create a measure or column value, then apply to your conditional format
Example this measure if the date you have is greater then today then it be 1 else 0.

Conditional Filter = IF(SELECTEDVALUE('Date'[Date])>TODAY(),1,0)
