Hi there,
I'm trying to conditionally format (highlight negative numbers as red) the output of a measure when used in a matrix visual.
When I go to measure when it is in the Values section and go to set up rules based conditional fomatting it will not allow me to select the measure in the 'Based on field' drop down (the measure is there I just can't click on it).
The annoying thing is it works for some of my measures but not all. Am I doing something wrong?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Create a measure along the lines of:
conditional format measure = IF([your measure] < 0, 1)
select the measure in the conditional formatting interface and format when the value = 1

@jacobsutcliffe , check the data type of this measure. Is it text? are you able to select any other measure?
