Conditional Formatting a SWITCH Measure as Values in Matrix Visual, Is It Possible?

Hello,

I am looking for a simple yes or no on if it is possible to apply conditional formatting to a single measure that is using SELECTEDVALUE in a matrix visual. The primary reason I am using this to display nested columns in my matrix but it appears to come at the price of conditional formatting of the individual columns. The main issue I am running into is that I need to a few columns to appear as % while others appear as $ amounts Since I am only able to do this with the FORMAT function in the measure, I am only able to apply conditional formatting to one of the data types depending on the data type I set the single measure to. Any help would be appreciated before I dive deeper into this rabbit hole. Thank you!

@dulrey dynamic format doesn't convert the value to the text.

Hi, @dulrey

Dynamic text metrics are really a great option and, as Super User mentioned, suit your situation. It's highly recommended that you try it out for more flexibility in how you present your data.

Thank you for your reply, the main issue I am having with this is that the conditional formatting rules are not applying to the percentage values since they are being formatted as text. I have provided an example below, I would like anything < 0 to appear with red text. My understanding is that dynamic formatting will convert the values to text to display in the desired format. Let me know if their is a gap in my understanding as to how they are functioning. Thank you!
