Dear @all,
I'm facing an issue with conditional formating. I have indicators based on three values : Soucis, Moyen and Ok. I want to show that as Icon and have defined a simple conditional formating rule :
And this is the data :
And this is the final result :
As you could see for the stream customer service, the Qualité Indicator is at Ok but the icon is not the green one.
I have regularly this behavior as I'm reporting on a monthly basis. And no way to force the rules to execute/refresh again. I need to remove the rule and recreate it if I want to have it work.
Any thoughts on this ?
@sfardel check the below video made by Wyn Hopkins regarding conditional formatting icons using DAX.
@Anonymous
Thanks for your input.
When I created the rule the first time or when I recreate it, it works. However, when I have new entries (every month I have a new indicator), I just change the date range in my dashboard and the icon should be updated accordingly to the new status of my indicator. Which works most of time, except that sometimes, the conditional formating is not updating the icon accorindgly to the new status.
I controlled the data type and its Text based field :
Hi @sfardel ,
Based on my testing, please try the following methods again:
1.Create the simple tables.
2.Select the quality column and select Icons.
3.Set the Rules.
4.Select OK. The quality Indicator is Ok and the icon is green one. The result is shown below.
Besides, try to review the the rules match the values in the quality column and check the data type.
When updating the data in power query editor, close and apply the Icon will update.
Best Regards,
Wisdom Wu
