Hello
I have various levels of hierarchy under each manager. Here is the issue
| Levels Under Manager 1 | Levels Under Manager 2 | Levels Under Manager 3 |
| 1 | 1 | 1 |
| 2 | 2 | 2 |
| 3 | 3 | 3 |
| 4 | 4 | 4 |
| 5 | 5 | 5 |
| Blank | 6 | 6 |
| Blank | 7 | 7 |
| Blank | 8 | Blank |
| Blank | 9 | Blank |
| Blank | Blank | Blank |
In the above scenario, i need to conditionally format the lower most node with a specific color bacground when i drill down on the hierarchy in a matrix visual. I need to have subtotals on in this. I was able to eliminate all the blanks when drilling down on the hierarchy but conditionally formatting the last node is being difficult.
Any suggestions please?
Thank you
hi, @APR
I'm a little confused by your description, What is your expected output based on the sample data.

Hello LIN,
I'm talking about the matrix visual here. Since I have multiple levels in the hierarchy (9 levels max) in the above example.
When I perform a drilldown function in Matrix, I should be able to see results as below:
| Manager 1 | |
| Subordinate 1 | |
| Subordinate 2 | |
| Subordinate 3 | |
| Subordinate 4 | |
| Subordinate 5 | |
| Manager 2 | |
| Subordinate 1 | |
| Subordinate 2 | |
| Subordinate 3 | |
| Subordinate 4 | |
| Subordinate 5 | |
| Subordinate 6 | |
| Subordinate 7 | |
| Subordinate 8 | |
| Subordinate 9 | |
| Manager 3 | |
| Subordinate 1 | |
| Subordinate 2 | |
| Subordinate 3 |
Basically The lower most node in my hierarchy should be conditionally formatted to a specific font color or a background color.
Eg: If I specify the level in my hierarchy where i need conditional formatting, it works. But drilling down one more level makes it disappear.
Here, Manager 3 has Subordinate 3 as his last subordinate but Manager 2 has Subordinate 9 as his last subordinate. When I drill down on the hierarchy Manager 3 would get a blank context for every level after Subordinate 3.
To be able to factor this in and have the lower most node in my hierarchy conditionally formatted is what I'm looking for.
Thank you.
