Hi,
I have a conditional column containing dates (UK) in the format of dd/mm/yyyy which is also my locale settings on the computer.
Everything works fine until I have to edit the query because a new line of data has been added to the source and I need to update the query for that line of data.
For some reason when I go to edit the step 'Added Conditional Column 1' instead of the date saying 16/05/2019 for example it has been replaced with #date(2019, 5, 16)
I've tried converting the column to a date column and also converting it to a date column using locale and it's all fine the first time I do it but as soon as I go to edit the query to add a new line to the conditional formating all the existing dates have been replaced.
The issue is that when I then go to Close & Apply the query breaks saying it can't parse the input provided as a Date value?
Any ideas please why this is happening?
Hi @Jasonvl ,
Could you please share the screenshot to us for analysis?
In the Power Query (edit queries), the data only have data type instead of data format, we can change it in the data model after "Close & Apply".
Best Regards,
Teige
