Compressed line graph

Hi, so I have a line graph that had 12 monthly values on, so was 12 datapoints wide.  My Business Owner wants to see progress across the month - so requested that on (for example) the 20th of the month, the line is 2/3 of the way between each monthly marker, and obviously the projection is the other 1/3 of the line (for the rest of the current month, and then projected out to the end of the year.

So, I now have the data as daily, but the line graph is now 365 days wide, and so loses its impact by having to scroll along.  Is there any way to remove the horizontal scroll and condense the line graph to just the real estate available.  Hope this makes sense

1.PNG2.PNG3.PNGpic 1 - daily data, pic 2 - monthly data, pic 3 - desired outcome - e.g. 20 days into August.

Thankyou

hi, @jmsav

Create a flag column for date column, for example: if ([Date]<= [variable date expression], "Show","Hide")

Then drag this field into visual/page/report level filter and set is "Show".

Best Regards,

Lin
