Hi,
I have an issue where the text is not showing up completely when using SAP BW BEX query as a source. We get full text at the backend query level, but it gets cropped in Power BI.
Please advise if we have a workaround for this.
Thank you.
Hi @POSPOS
I asked about your question about not displaying full text in Power BI when using SAP BW.
According to the official documentation provided, "If working with very large datasets in DirectQuery mode or experiencing slow SAP BW query response times, Power BI makes report interactions easier by providing options in reports to reduce the number of queries sent."
That's one possible reason.

@Anonymous -
I am using import mode and the dateset is also very limited volume. It only has 1000 rows.
The only issue is with one column where the text is not fully showing in Power BI even though the backend SAP BW query shows the complete text.
Hi @POSPOS
I think this may be caused by the fact that you are using import mode to load data into power bi's memory, which is limited by power bi's content limitations.
Even though the backend SAP BW query shows the full text.
You may need to consider the limitations of Power BI itself or need to take a different approach to displaying the full text.
