Comparing data between date period for scatter chart

Hi guys,

Here is a bubble chat made in excel. QQ图片20170527105022.png

Basically it is a comparison chart between 2 date periods(example: 2017-04-01 to 2017-05-01 and 2016-04-01 to 2016-05-01)  and showing their revolution, right now Power BI allows me to deal with day by day movement trend. Please advise on how we can achieve this.

Thanks

Hi @qjc171819

If you drag a column that based on day then the play axis will play 1 day at a time.  If you drag a year column you'll get 1 year at a time

Sure, but how to compare between two time periods, not a single point of time. For example, in my photo, those two bubbles in purple, the small one’s period: 2016.01.01--2016.03.01 , then the big one :2017.01.01-2017.03.01.   Does it need two slicers?

Hi @qjc171819,

You can try to consider transforming data and add a column to contains period data, then add this column as Details. It will display bubbles in the same color for different period. You can try add this new column as Play Axis.
