Compare a specific month from last year end

Hi,

 

I know this is a repeated topic but i couldnt seem to fix my measure to find the % variance between Sept 2019 and Dec 2018 balances:

 

Currently this is what my matrix looks like and its based on one appended table:image.pngimage.png

 

Appreciate if anyone could assist.

I created a sample that you could try.

  • Please create a calendar table firstly.
Date = CALENDARAUTO()

1.PNG 

  • Then create a measure
Measure = CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[Netbal_iis]),DATEADD('Date'[Date],-1,YEAR))

2.PNG

@Anonymous not sure if you already have date calendar in your model or not, if not then add one, there are many post on how to do this. and from there it will be very easy to create all these calculations.
