Hello,
I have a dataset in Excel that is basically used for project management and it has many columns but I only need three. One date column is basically text and has values other than the date. There are two other columns that have a person's name in them. One is basically titled Leading, the other column, Supporting.
When I create the visual, Power BI will not aggregate or count the values in both columns separately. In other words, the values in the Leading column seem to be duplicated instead of displaying separate counts for Support or Lead based on the name in the appropriate column in the dataset. It was displaying correctly but now I am missing something. Additionally, I need to create a measure to aggregate the total count for each person for each date and the total should be a third column under each date. Any help is appreciated.
Thank You for the response. I did try this but received the same results.
Hi @jisler3 in Power Query, for column "Submission Deadline" change datatype to date, close and apply, in matrix put that column in rows not in column and check results. Hopet this help
