Combining KPIs

Hi All,

Sorry if this has been answered before, but we're all a bit new to PBI at my company so we're looking for some specific help with our problem.

Basically what we're trying to do is construct a 'Main' KPI for our dashboard that can be drilled down into, which combines some of the other views we've already created. Most of these are easy to reconstruct and can just be added to the 'Axis' field, but one of the KPIs we want to incorporate into this main one has a few different measures that we don't know how to implement into the drill down view.

The overall plan we have for the KPI is as follows (each level representing a drill down):

Count of Test Instance by Responsible Tester

Count of Test Instance by Execution Status

Individual Test Completion % (this is the tricky one)

Test Steps (can filter to failed steps, we haven't created this yet)

The image below shows the top level of the new 'Main' KPI, and the one after shows the KPI we'd like to implement. The measures involved can be seen to the right of the second image.

Thanks for any help!

Hi @Locken,

To what I can understand from you prints you want to have a drill down of count and then do a drill down to a % of completion, this is not achievable with the drill down since you want to show on the same chart two different types of information (a number and a percentage), the drill down is used in the X-asis category so you can go deeper in your information not as a change in the way you analyse your data from a total number to a percentage.

Hi @MFelix,

Thanks, we had considered that might be an issue, but also wanted to be sure. We really appreciate the help anyway 🙂
