Combining Data from 4 SSAS MDX Cubes in Power BI

Hi All,

I am trying compare 4 cubes to find out variance. Assume all 4 SSAS Multidimensional cubes have Measure called Sales and want to check that these cubes are having same data or not.  We want a slicer on Fiscal week in Year and few other slicers.

Want to use live connections to all 4 cubes. Is there any way to achieve this..?

HI @Anonymous ,

As parry2k said, current you can't get multiple live connection data sources to power, it only allows one live connection and not able to enable composite model with other data sources. live connection limitation?

For your scenario, I'd like to suggest you use import mode or merge these SSAS instances to one and get data from the merged instance. Merge Partitions in Analysis Services (SSAS - Multidimensional)

@Anonymous unfortunately it is not possible, if you are using Live connection, you can have only one datasource. With importa, yes you can connecct to multiple cubes, (all need to be import)

Would appreciate Kudos 🙂 if my solution helped.
