Hello,
I have Table #1 that shows the start date and end date of each project phase 1-3 for projects A, B, and C. I have Table #2 that shows the costs per project phase 1-3 for projects A, B, and C. Table #1 and Table#2 are linked by project ID number. I also have Table #3 that just has months/dates (but it doesn't have a relationship link to the other two tables). I would like to create a table to combine all this data to be able to visualize spend by month/year for all projects. Both Tables #1 and #2 contain other important information that's making things difficult to combine. Any suggestions on how to create a new table that would give me the information that I'm looking for?
Thank you!
Hi,
Share some data and show the expected result.
Thanks for your help! Here's some more information on what I was thinking.
Table 1 columns
ID, Project, Project Deadline (month/year), Project Phase (5 options), Phase Start Date (month/year), Phase End Date (month/year), Phase Duration
Table 2 columns
ID, Project, Project Estimated Cost, Project Phase (5 options), Phase Estimated Cost, Phase Duration
Table 3
Dates (in form of months for lots of years)
Expected Result
Date (month/year), [cost of all projects for that month]
*would like to be able to filter by Project Phase, type of project, etc.
This information will no help, I will not create your data. Share data which i can download in an Excel file.

I may not clear about your situation, but instead of merging tables, I would prefer to linking the date table with Table #1 via start date or end date, so that the 3 tables would be connected with each others. This could allow to be able to visualize spend by month/year for all projects.
