Hi
I have two columns: Column1 (integers) and Column2 (dummy variable - 0 or 1).
I have to insert Column3 in my dashboard such that it shows only values in Column1 for which Column2 = 1.
What is the best way to do it?
There is an example below.
Thanks!
Column1 --- Column2
100 ---- 0
250 ---- 1
99 ---- 0
10 ---- 1
120 ---- 1
Table in Power BI Dashboard should show this:
Column3
250
10
120

Hi, @Glibberg
You can try the following methods.
Table:
Table 2 = SUMMARIZE(FILTER('Table',[Column2]=1),'Table'[Column1])
The newly created table is your desired output and can be put directly into the dashboard.

Easiest way is to use the Filter Pane on the right side.
Drag a Table Visual onto your canvas.
Drag Column1 into the Column well. Select "Don't Summarize" in the dropdown.
Drag Column2 into the Filter Pane. Choose Basic Filtering and check the value 1.
Hope this helps you on your way.
