Hi everyone,
I'm having some difficulties with a graph I'm trying to build.
Basicaly I have 5 columns : One with dates (from January 2nd to January 15th) ; three with different numbers (specific to the previous date) and one total (a measure I created).
I want to add another column with only one number (50) in january 2nd but it gives me the same number (so 50) from 2nd to 15th and total of the column is 50 though.
I tried to check my date hierarchy, change from sum to count, to basicaly everything but nothing worked ...
Does anyone have an idea ?
Thanks,
Solved! Go to Solution.
@NB3- best option then is check the relationship defined between the query containing the 5th column and set it to single direction and then check results and then switch it to both.
@NB - By default for the 5th column PBI is summing it up, click on the pill icon next to the 5th column name under the 'Values' section and select ' Don't Summarize'
I tried but when I dont summarize it just splits all my dates in two, one row with my number from other columns and another row under with my 50. From January 2nd to 15th
@NB3 - Can you post some sample data of how it is as of now and how you expect it to be?
This is what I get with "sum". The Issue column is 50 on everyline but it's supposed to be on January 2nd only.
And when I don't summarize it just puts another line under with the 50.
And what I want to get in the end:
Thanks
@NB3are all of these columns sourced from the same data source? Lastly, can you paste the data as text instead of a screenshot so that I can copy it in PBI and see what's up ?
Actually each column is from a different data source.
Unfortunately I'm not allowed to send you the data ... the screenshot you have is just a quick Excel spreadsheet I made.

@NB3- wonderful! I figured that would be the case when you said its coming from another source.
