Column exported with number and text data
Good afternoon
I have exported an Excel table to Power BI, my column is called (Purchase Order) in which most is in number, however, I have information that appears as text and number, for example: "John9073927". The problem is that when Power BI imports excel, it only imports the information formatted number and not the Text+Number information.
I'd like to know if I can set up to read all the information as soon as it's loaded.
Thank you
Are numbers with text late for data so that they are not displayed in the preview window? If so, simply replace the first changed Type step with one that converts it to text instead. If only the numbers are displayed in the preview, all values are assumed to be numbers and you will see errors when loading the rest.
If this works for you, mark it as the solution. Praise is also appreciated. Please let me know if you don't.
Best regards
Pat

Hello
No, I currently have an excel base of 10,000 data, of which in the "BUY ORDER" column I have to say 9500 numeric data and the other 500 are a combination text+number (Example: Juan12345). When you upload the database to Power BI, this "text+number" data appears blank as if it did not have my excel information or as if it had not been exported.
