Cohort for User Retention

I am strugling to create a Cohort for user retention in a Matrix Visualization. The data available is three tables:

Events

UserEventTimestamp
cac9952e-8d32-4c58-9ece-2326bc99b1cesignup08-09-2023
cac9952e-8d32-4c58-9ece-2326bc99b1cesearch10-09-2023
cac9952e-8d32-4c58-9ece-2326bc99b1cepage_view10-09-2023
bac5952e-1d32-4c58-4ebe-6326bc19b1cisignup10-09-2023

Dates

Date
08-09-2023
09-09-2023
10-09-2023

Cohorts

ValueDays
1Day 1
2Day 2
3Day 3

The cohort should look something like this:

 Day 1Day 2Day 3
08-09-2023
09-09-2023
10-09-2023

How do I calculate the returning user percentage per day?

Hi @digitised ,

If I understand correctly, it seems that you want to create a matrix visual to display the cohort for the user retention. What's the expected result in Value field of matrix base on your provided data? What's the calculation logic of returning user percentage per day? It would be helpful to find the solution. Thank you.
