Cohort Analysis - Education

Hello, new to Power BI desktop. Can you point me in the direction of learning how to set up a cohort analysis where I could see how a cohort of students performed on a test over the years as they advanced in grade level?

For example: If students first took a test in grade 3...I want to track how they did as 4th graders, 5th graders, 6th graders, etc.

Thank you!

@bookworm91910

You basically need the dates when the students took thier exams at different grades. If you take a set of students who took thier grade 3 exam on 1/1/2020 and thier subsequent grade exam dates could be ploted on the columns on a matrix to show the progress.

Refer this video and apply accordingly to your scenario: (25) DAX for Power BI - Easy Cohort Analysis - YouTube
