I have a clustered chart showing previous and current quarterly data for the company as a whole, and a slicer which can be used to look at various areas of the company:
However, when I apply the slicer, for some areas of the company, the quarters stay in order, and for others, they switch around:
What is going wrong? I am thinking it is something simple that I have missed however. How can i keep them in chronological quarter order?

You can create a sort sequence and then try to fix the X-axis fields using the sort by column function.
