Hello!
I am trying to use a table matrix as a slicer of sorts.. When I click on a item it highlights it and dims the rest of the data out in a table matrix. Thats perfect but it is cutting data off in another table that I want to see.. I want to click on a item in my top table and not have it remove data from another table.. Help?
Hi @Anonymous
I think you need cross-highlight between Matrixs.
Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to implement in Power BI currently.
You can vote up this idea for this function:Cross-Highlighting with Matrices and Tables
Or you can submit a new idea to improve the Power BI.
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by
other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in
the future.

Hi @Anonymous, I think what you're looking for is editing interactions between visuals. By using this functionality you can change/turn off the interaction between two desired visuals.
Click on Matrix visual, go to Format on the top ribbon and click on "Edit interactions".
You'll see immediately new symbols on the right top corner of the Table like on the image below:
If you select "None", next time you filter your matrix the data in Table will remain invariate.
Depending on visuals you use, you might have different options such as Filter, Highlight and None (for instance for pie chart).
Good luck!
