Post ProdigyChoosing columns under edit queries
I spend a lot of time eliminating the unnecessary columns from tables using the choose columns feature under edit queries.
Wonder if the experts could share tips on this area, also the most efficient way to do this because one could also use remove columns.
It would also be a great if the distinct values of a column are shown when a table is opened under edit queries. Distinct values are shown in data view but not under edit queries and in the choose columns dialog box (data type would be helpful as well).

From above description, I am confused about your requirement. What problem did you face when removing the unnecessary columns? Do you want to remove multiple columns at a time? If so, you can choose multiple columns (Ctrl + Click), then, click "remove" button as shown in below image.

If you want to remove two columns , select those two columns and click on "remove columns" as shown below in first image.
If you want to remove all columns except two columns then select the 2 columns which are required and click on "remove other columns". Please reply in detail if it doesnt answer your question.

sanimesav-yulgu-msft What is the difference between rmove columns and choose columns? Does it impact performance/model size?
It would be great to have the distinct values of a column under choose columns as well. Most often columns with only 1 distinct value are not useful.
