Hi there ,
I've created a small table with 5 Products and their unit price. I ask Bing to write Dax expression to calculate number of products above the average? the code return correct answer but when I've tried to do this with Power BI quick measure - CoPilot I could not get any answer.
Any thought? how to ask this question and get an answer.
Thanks,
Oded Dror

Hi, Oded.
Currently, all of our "natural language" engines are not 100 percent accurate because they are based on certain statistics.
This is the reason why we should not give up studying the Dax.
Moreover, our writing should also be as precise as possible. There are entire courses dedicated to the elaboration of prompts.
I am also not certain I understand what you are trying to calculate from your wording.
Consider phrasing your request differently
"Count the number of unique products with unit prices above the average for all products "
(Assuming I understood your request correctly as you did not provide an example of a data set and the desired result)

Rita,
I did provide a screenshot of my question, never the less ChatGPT did answer correctly the issue I'm having is with CoPilot which did not understand how to make a connection between three things
1. find the average price (which it did)
2. find uniqe product (which it did)
3. count item 2 which above item 1 (it can't understand that)
Looks like we need to wait until CoPilot will gain some knowledge.
Thanks,
Oded Dror
Hi rita,
I plugged this question into Copilot but no results, looks like CoPilot has issues understanding questions ChatGPT looks more mature algorithm then CoPilot even though is the subset of ChatGPT?
Thanks,
Oded Dror
Approximately a month ago, I attended a Microsoft lecture on this topic.
In Israel, at one of the data conferences.
According to the lecture, there is a connection between them, but it is not a copy-and-paste relationship.
Once again, these are things that I would not trust 100 percent, and this is just a tool, not a substitute for our brain...
