Changing username email to correct one

Hi Guys,

When setting up Power Bi within my company, my actual email was a linked one, so i had to set it up as a @microsoftonline one.

Everyone now has a dedicated company email on 365 but am now having problems sharing my reports (or they are viewing them) as it is saying they are not a part of the company.

Can i change my username email to my new correct company one, without losing all of the reports i have done?

Many thanks

Adam

You must place your reports on a workplace that is shared and not on my workspace that will allow to have more users that are admin or creator and keep the work going.

Hi @AdamPetley ,

To my knowledge you can't migrate an account from a tenant to another one, so in this case you need to download your reports and then reupload them on the new tenant.

You can probably could be add has an external user to the AAD and be abble to share your reports for your onmicrosoft account, but personally believe that is not the best option.

Power BI service is on the tenant based. so you need to use the account that is on that tenant.

Altough is not the answer you are looking for hope this helps.
