Hi,
When I change the name of source file in Microsoft teams as we can open file from teams in sharepoint and that is from where I uploaded the file and then I opened Advanced query editor in query editor window and changed the name of the file there. It still gave me an error and the file's new name was not identified. Why Is It like that?
Thanks in advance
Best Regards,
Diksha Gupta

Hi @Anonymous ,
Thanks for granting me the access to your report file. As checked your report file, it seems that you were trying to access the excel file under the following 3 folder paths. Could you please check whether there exist the file named with "Price Comparison.xlsx"? Whether the name of this excel file has been changed to other one?

Hi @Anonymous ,
As checked the applied codes for the query "Sample File" in Advanced Editor, the name of the related excel file has already be "Price Comparison". So it seems that the file name is OK. Could you please provide the related screenshots for the files under those 3 folder path(refer in my previous post)? I need to check whether the file "Price Comparison" exist there. By the way, did you get the error message when run it in Power BI Desktop?
In addition, you can try the method in the following blog to update/remove the data source setting and check whether it can work.
Edit Or Remove Permission From Existing Data Source Connection From Power BI

@Anonymous , was the previous excel that has taken from SharePoint having a table, means you have taken a table that is not present in the new sheet (excel table) ?
The best is to create a new connection and take the top part from the new connection and replace it in the old file
