Changing color of an image basing on a value

Hi, sorry for the fact that the solution will probably be 5x longer than the question, but:

I have a picture of the van, and a table with the van condition (front of Van, back of Van, outside of Van).

I think it would be cool if, for example, front of Van would change colour to yellow in case there is some minor defect, and to red in a case of a major defect. I control the database so I can set numeric values for defects if it helps. Is there any way to do this?

Is the van photo SVG? You can use a custom visual map to do this in combo with conditional formatting.
