How can we change sql server connection string in .pbix file, Database server is not accessible from my local machine, It's only accessible through PowerBI report server. I cant change datasource and save report in PowerBI Desktop as I am unable to connect to Database
Solved! Go to Solution.
@Anonymous you can create a parameter for your connection string in pbix and replace that to your tables using advanced editor.
once report is published to the service, goto your dataset and change the parameter value to connect to other sql server.
