Change axis values

Hi all,

i just started to work with Power Bi, so i am a total beginner.

I am trying to create a chart where i have article numer on my x-axis and a date on my y-axis.

x-axis is no problem but when i am trying to put the date on the y-axis under values, it always counts the number of dates - always 1 but i want to display the date e.g. 12.12.2018 on the axis.

Maybe it is pretty easy to change, but i can´t find it.

Thanks for your help!

Go to data modelling tab and set the data type as date to your date field.
