Change Data Source - Microsoft Exchange Online

Hi,

I would like to ask if how to change data source?

Currently, I am using my Corporate Outlook but I will be moving next month to another work and I need to transfer the ownership of the PowerBI I am maintaining.

I am planning to transfer the data source to someone who is also the receiver of the email and make his outlook as the data source next month.

Hi @Anonymous

To make sure I understood, you are connecting your exchange online to your Power BI Report and your want to share the report with a new user who has to conenct the report to his own email address (A different one)?

More of tranferring the data source from my inbox going to another's email account.

To summarize my case, I am using Microsoft Exchange Online to source data for my PowerBI. I am receiving the excel file on a monthly basis and this file will be used for PowerBI.

Since I am going to move to another process, I need to drop myself as the owner/source of the data. I am going to assign someone who is receiving the same file and make his outlook account as the next data source for PBI instead of mine.

I hope I made it clear. Thank you @DataVitalizer!

I suggest that you parameter your email address in the advanced editor and save the report as  template, once you share it, the other user will have to insert his new email address and the report will load.
