Cascading Parameters/Filters
Hi.
We currently use SSRS reports which are wrapped in a web template.
The report has multiple related parameters.
In this web template we can select Parameter A and it will reload the list of Paramater B and so on.
Is this possible in Power BI Desktop, service, Templates, Embedded etc.

You can do this with interactions, To do so
- click on the slicer that you want to be the parent for filtering the child slicers.
- On the ribbon, menu click the Format tab and click on edit interactions.
- select the funnel on the child slicer.
- Click on edit interactions again.
That is all there is to do.

LydiaThanks but can you explain how to get parameter B to change based on the selection in Parameter A i.e. cascading parameters.
Defintion is one part but cascading was not good in SSRS and so we built a web wrapper to handle this.
Will we need another web wrtapper in Power BI?

Power BI doesn't support cascading parameters, about this issue, you can submit a feature request in Power BI ideas forum.
