Hi All!
I'm quite new to PowerBi and I created a report that is just for displaying data from a couple of excel sheets at a glance. I have a table as a visual that shows the names of materials, material number, classification number, material type and corresponding report name basically. This table pulls all its info from one data table (A) that is connected to another, shorter table (B) via the material number, which is also connected to a third table (C) through material number again.
In the report I also have a card displaying the classification number as an added visual, there are no calculations behind it. The card and the table are from the same data table (A).
- When I use the search bar visual to look for a specific material name, the classification number on the card is displayed correctly every time.
- When clicking on the name in the visual table, only the classification number of the rows of data that exist in both table (A) and table (B) seem to be displayed, even though the card and the table visual use data form only table (A).
I'm a bit lost as to why that is, does anyone have an idea what I could check? I don't understand how the card is looking for information, why it seems to be connected to table (B) or (C).
Thanks in advance!
That would be a question for your data model. Without seeing that we can't really help.
