Card not filtering properly

Hello,

 

I have recently appended two tables and wanted to filter the information by date.. Here I have January and February.

 

However, when I select/filter monthly gross margin on the card for just January it is still giving me the total amount for both months when I just want it for January? Help will be appreciated.

      Whenever I filter just one month/date the cards and the monthly gross margin does not filter just by that particular month, but still showing as the total of all the dates/month
