Cant load changes

I have 5 tables, two of them with 30000-50000 rows, when i try to add column or change column type, after i press 'close & apply',

The operation failed or get time out, there is a solution?

The other tables that smaller, works fine with changes.

Try doing the changes one by one and see if it breaks again.

Also, there is an option to set timeout option in Power Query for connections to API.

See a similar thread that might help:

can you post a screenshot of the error you getting?  also what is it that you do when you add a column.   How are you adding a column?

If I took the time to answer your question and I came up with a solution, please mark my post as a solution and /or give kudos freely for the effort 🙂 Thank you!

@vanessafvg

I fetch the data from API with HTTP request, i think that i didnt understand the process, After i load all the data, when i click 'Transform Data' and after the changes i click 'Close & Aplly' the data is fetch again from the data base?

Maby this is one of the reasons for the delay and the errors.
