Hello together,
when we try to upload a .pbix to our report server we get the super helpful message "Error while saving the report in "Power BI-Reportserver".
In the logs of the server we can find the following entries at that moment:
|ERROR|98|library|Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.ItemNotFoundException: , Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.ItemNotFoundException: The item '/test_chris.pbix' cannot be found.;| RequestID = s_f0683ffc-8749-45c4-bac3-06b6f4067871
|ERROR|95|The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.| RequestID = s_ea00b6d7-a8dd-4dd3-a657-664303ab7e88
We use the "Power BI Desktop (May 2021)" installed from the ReportServer. The Reportserver has the Version 15.0.1106.169.
What can we do? this is really annoying and we can't find the real issue behind this message..
Thanks in advance!

The solution was in stackoverflow to find ..
the ReportserverURL in the reportserver.conf was empty. Entered the correct value and now everything works like a charm.
Thanks for your help!
@PRE_IT , Please close all power files open again and try to publish. This can be an issue because on may -2021 release. Report an issue - https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
I have no files open. Only a test file with a linked Database from the same sql server as the report server is installed. The file just displays the amount of users created so there isn't any voodoo either.
This error was even present in the Dec'2020 version which we updated to May'2021 after hitting this error.
Even the "Repair" function of the windows installer and switching to a user account instead of an systemaccount did not change anything.
