I have a histogram chart show a measure (sales) against product name.
In order to show the sales as a log scale I have had to set the min value for the y-axis to1 - other It wont let me select log scale.
I have then tried to toggle between log and liner as follows:
The problem I have is that the scale does not toggle from log to linear even when the scaletype is zero.
I have checked that the scaletype value is correct by dispalying it in a card as well as looking at the chart data as a table.
Has anyone come across this problem or have a solution?

Just reading to your description and with limited understanding - One solution for your scenario could be to use Bookmarks to toggle between the charts. You can refer folloiwng to check how this can be done in Power BI:
