Cannot open dataset: something went wrong, unexpected failure

You can download PBIX from PBI Service and try opening that in Power BI desktop. Looks like, original file is corrupted ( not sure).

Thanks Deepak, but that's exactly what I tried already and I get the error once I try to open the donloaded pbix file.
I can understand if the working file gets corrupted, but the freshly downloaded file from the service? doesn't sound likely
Anonymous , Have you downgraded the PBI version? Is this error with the latest version or issue after it upgraded to the latest version.
If the version is old, try with the latest version
amitchandak , I am working with latest version (June 2020). I did many changes on the dataset during this week with the same PBI version.

Hi Anonymous Do you have access to another computer? If yes, try downloading and opening PBIX on a different computer.
