Cannot make a relationship between dates

Hello,

 

I have two tables. One table is called "Data3" and one is called "Akční Plán INCR".

 

Both of these tables contains a column with date.

 

So I created a new table as a calendar one (just for test). Calendar = CALENDAR(DATE(2024, 3, 1), DATE(2024, 3, 31)).

 

What I need is to choose a date from the calendar date filter and I want to affect both of the tables with that filter (Data3 and Akční Plán INCR table).

 

When I make a relation between them it just do not work. Can you help me with that?

 

EDIT // Somehow I make it work, but I cannot use the hierarchy anymore.

For me you cannot use hierachie because it is a slicer and not a matrice

Normally you can use hirarchy in slicer just fine. As it was before the relation.

I made a test here and slicer did not work too. If it is not this, sorry I have no idea.

Ye I think I showed every date column in the video and every column is in the Date data type with dd.mm.yyyy format. The date column has (when imported) date as text. From this column I did =DATEVALUE(that_column) and for this new column I set data type to Date with dd.mm.yyyy format.

Are you that all your fiels Date are in a Date format ?
